Our story

Rooted in place. Built with purpose.

Lost Cedars is more than a name—it connects the work to the land, the people, and the responsibility to build something lasting.

Why Lost Cedars

A working standard, not a slogan.

The Lost Cedars name comes from the family property where this business is taking shape—a place once known by that name to the owner's great-uncle. It carries history, independence, and a strong sense of stewardship.

Lost Cedars Defense Works exists to bring that same grounded mindset to firearm care, custom projects, equipment decisions, and preparedness. The goal is not to chase trends. It is to help people make sound decisions and develop equipment that fits a real purpose.

The business is growing deliberately. Services are offered by appointment, projects are accepted based on current capability, and new offerings will be added only when the training, tools, and processes are ready.

Operating principles

What guides the work.

These principles shape which projects are accepted, how recommendations are made, and what customers should expect.

01

Skill before claims

Capabilities are represented honestly and expanded through training and proven process.

02

Practical over fashionable

Every recommendation should solve a real problem or support a clear objective.

03

Preparedness through competence

Good equipment matters, but knowledge, planning, and responsible use matter more.
